1. Description of the Service

InboxBites is an AI-powered platform that connects to your email inbox to extract key insights from subscribed newsletters and blogs. It converts this content into short, digestible summaries ("bites") delivered via a mobile-first web app and optional integrations (e.g., Slack, WhatsApp, Telegram).

2. Eligibility

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
  • Not be barred from using our service under applicable law

3. Account Registration & Access

  • You must create an account and authenticate with a valid email provider (e.g., Gmail or Outlook) via secure OAuth.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must not share your access or impersonate others.

4. User Responsibilities

By using InboxBites, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Access or attempt to access content not intended for you
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • Use the Service to process or transmit any malicious or harmful content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of these terms.

5. Subscription & Payment

InboxBites offers both Free and Pro plans:

  • Free users receive limited daily summaries (10 bites/day).
  • Pro users enjoy unlimited summaries, additional integrations, and access to web data sources.

Payments are processed via secure third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

6. Intellectual Property

All content provided by InboxBites—including app design, summaries, branding, and software—is the intellectual property of InboxBites. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

You retain ownership of your email content. By using the Service, you grant us a license to process and transform your content for the purpose of generating summaries and improving the Service.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Termination

You may stop using InboxBites at any time. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • We suspect unauthorized or unlawful activity
  • We discontinue the Service (with prior notice)

Upon termination, your access to the Service and stored data may be permanently deleted.

9. Disclaimers

  • InboxBites is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
  • We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of AI-generated summaries.
  • We are not responsible for any decisions made based on summaries generated by the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InboxBites will not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Any loss of data, revenue, or profits
  • Any content inaccuracies due to AI summarization

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. You will be notified of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance.
